OH! Daisy is back - and this time, they’ve brought a guillotine.
Out today, their latest single is a pulsing, punky punch of feminine energy, drenched in sass, tension, and just the right amount of silliness. It’s made for screaming in the mirror before a night out - or as OH! Daisy puts it, “your pregame soundtrack to feel hot, chaotic, and a little dangerous.”
Co-written with Jordy Finlay (Teenage Dads), Guillotine came together effortlessly. “Some songs are just ready to be written,” says Lead Vocalist Bambi. “We were chasing something bass-driven and fun. I’d just watched Pearl and was obsessed with that ‘BUT I’M A STARRRR’ energy. I wanted to channel that screaming, feminine rage - confident, loud, and a bit unhinged.”
From there, the track practically wrote itself. “Jordy picked the word Guillotine because it sounded cool - and the rest just spilled out. We barely touched it after that.”
“The whole track is doused in light chaos,” they laugh. “I was trying to channel my inner cocky villain energy, which is so unlike me - but I had so much fun getting there.”
With sonic nods to Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers, DZ Deathrays and Mannequin Pussy, OH! Daisy continues to carve out their own lane - one that’s heartfelt, theatrical, and just the right amount of messy. Their music leans into big feelings: heartbreak, growing up, and navigating the world with your eyeliner slightly smudged.
Off the back of a string of energetic support shows with Origami Angel, Keli Holiday, Fool Nelson, aleksiah, and Chasing Ghosts, OH! Daisy is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new voices in the scene.
Guillotine is out now.
