When I started working with OH! Daisy in 2021, they had everything you can’t teach. A chaotic and magnetic live presence. A community of fans who truly cared. A sound that felt urgent, honest and entirely their own.
What they didn’t have yet was a long-term plan. A clear artist identity. Systems to support growth. A strategy that would make big moments land and last.
We took our time.
We built everything from the ground up.
And when Guillotine dropped in May 2025, all of that groundwork showed up in every single result.
⚡ What We Did
Reframed the artist story to reflect their evolution in sound and presence
Landed major playlist placements on Spotify (Fresh Finds Global, Fresh Finds Rock, Fresh Finds AU/NZ, Local Noise) and Apple Music (New Music Daily, The New Rock)
Ran a combined media campaign with national PR support and grassroots community radio
Delivered a headline show at Shotkickers with longtime collaborators Elkie Kershaw and Baby Shower
Reactivated their fan platforms with purpose, from mailing list to Discord
Rolled out a multi-week content plan that supported release momentum well beyond week one
📈 The Results (From Release Day)
Spotify monthly listeners grew from 730 to 11,439
Listener peak hit on 24 May 2025
78 new Spotify followers post-release
76 new Instagram followers during the campaign
Spotify popularity score rose by 15 points in under three weeks
💡 Why It Worked
Because we didn’t rush it.
Because every part of this campaign was rooted in who OH! Daisy are.
The music had evolved, and the world around it finally matched. The strategy had been growing alongside the band. When Guillotine dropped, it wasn’t a surprise. It was a moment we had spent four years getting ready for.
And that’s why it landed.
What This Proves
Real artist development takes time.
It takes trust, care and long-term thinking.
And when it’s done right, the results are undeniable.
